• 24 million American children ride school buses daily.
• On average, these students spend an hour and a half each day in a school bus. And there are over 10 million children attending 20,000 schools in 1000 school districts in the Southeast Region

Southeast School Bus program focus is on increasing communication to transportation officials, principals and community.  Through bus retrofits and fleet modernization, utilization of clean fuels and idle reduction policies for buses and cars, schools can:

• -save fuel
• -reduce maintenance cost
• -decrease pollution
